Growing up in a small northern shithole the spacemen 3 were the psychedelic centre of my world, and i was even lucky enough to be at both the Oldham and London shows when Pete Kember first spat out those lyrics to this MC5 instrumental - very differently than the way he
drips his measured bile onto the record - full of vim and visceral anger, the vocal equivalent to Roscoe Mary Sterling Roswell's constant drum destruction.

I was, of course, tripping my tits off and Sonic easily convinced that the Revolution was right around the corner.

I was full of hope, not realising that although the DRUGS PRIDE revolution would start gathering pace almost immediately, 33 and a 3rd revolutions around the sun later these words would need repeating, and repeating, and repeating, more than ever.

Brothers and Sisters, lemme see your see your hands out there.
